Important items to note

Safety and English Language Proficiency

The safety of our students, instructors, and the general public is paramount at Browning Mountain Training. We will not graduate any student that cannot demonstrate their ability to safely operate the vehicle. We believe there is more to safety than just being able to move the vehicle down the road and will be sure all graduates can demonstrate a grasp of this concept.

While we offer the online course in Spanish for those that wish to utilize it, we conduct all in-person training in English to help ensure our students comply with the federal mandate requiring all CDL drivers to be able to converse with DOT officers and read signs in English. Respecting that mandate, Karen has been an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor in the past and is proficient at helping those for whom English is their second language understand the concepts of trucking in English. Please note: all students must be able to converse in English prior to training.
